A Sex Worker, Hannah was burnt to death by a mob who accused her of possessing the holy book of their religion, known as the Qur'an. Hannah Salisu becomes the latest victim of jungle justice as she meets her untimely end when her fellow human being takes her life in the name of religion. 


According to the information available, the alleged killers said they were searching for a missing N5000, which Hannah accused one of them, who patronized her, of stealing, when they found the Qur'an under her pillow. They inquired more to know why she kept a Qur'an under her pillow and used it for her prostitution activities. 


During the course of interrogation, they attacked, stabbed her, and went further in putting more injuries on her when they took her out and set her ablaze. Popular Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu lamented how the act of killing people in the name of religion is increasing in the country.
